Has Nicola been compromised? The 64,000 dollar question. Ok, I get frustrated with the SNP. I will still voted for them and my writing will promoted them but I will not slavishly follow their creed. There are a number of issues I have with them and I do not rank them in order – leave that to the journalists- they do like a good ‘ranking’. They seem to exist in the comparative tense. They cannot say the weather is sunny today. No, this is the sunniest day we have had this week. Shit, I must have slept through a great day last week. In a sense, I think people do this, offer comparisons to make them self look more clever – who knows, who cares – this is the least I have cared since … see what I mean?
There is a thread through my concerns but it is not obvious, even to me! Alex Salmond looked perilously close to achieving Restitution for Scotland. Perhaps you read my last blog about the elephant in the room and conflating Politics and Sovereignty. There is another angle. The Union, I like to think that the term Union is a ‘group’ noun for Conservatives , Labour and LibDumbs. There play musical chairs in Westminster. When Clegg came along there were two bums on the one chair and I don’t use the term lightly.
OK, so the Union are faced with the slaughter of the golden goose. They know they face total financial ruination followed by the entire fabric of their society with Scottish Restitution. Who do they turn to? Who do they know in Dark Ops? In the days of the Empire the UK or rather England was all about Dark Ops, subversion, back channels etc – but there is no Empire now – it is long gone and England is left with the Home Celtic nations, Gibraltar and the Falklands. But they know Dark Ops, Black Ops and the darkest of Dark Ops; Israel and Mossad. They operate the most extensive and underhand lobby groups, totally integrated in the Western world but strongest by far in the UK and the US. In the UK the range of Israeli Groups are literally too many to list. Sitting at the peak we have the Board of Deputies with their foot soldiers the Friends of {everybody} …. Basically, they control UK politics, root and branch across the main parties. The UK is a very important puppy to Israel so they will do what needs doing to save their little puppy.
How do we know when they are around? well, we don’t. However, they always leave a calling card with their signature Modus Operandi. This is generally an upsetter, a scandal, generally a sex scandal or some other discretion. This could be real but more likely it will be a honey trap.
So, Alex Salmon gets too close for comfort and ‘surprisingly females from his distant past come forward in droves with accusations of sexual impropriety. Scaffolding is what they generally call it these days. So Alex is out of the picture, job done.
Nicola Sturgeon, with her customary air of caution says nothing really other than the Law will take it course. Eventually, the law did take its course. Very costly in time and money and unsurprisingly Alex is found to have no case to answer.
It was a triumphant day when the verdict on Alex Salmond came in and I anticipated a solid ‘telt you’ from Nicola Sturgeon. I did not hear a word. This left me extremely concerned and not a little suspicious.
Many people in the Yes Movement, the 87% Yes crowd, have become steadily more impatient. The polls for Independence have been creeping up a little, moving in the right direction, slowly, ever so slowly. This is enough to keep Sturgeon in Post but nothing like securing Independence or the Restoration of our Sovereignty; I like to call Scottish Restitution.
You may notice I have now dropped the familiar Nicola and sometimes petulantly refer to Sturgeon. Like so many others I am seething. What does it take to overcome this intransigence. Brexit alone should have turned the streets of Scotland into the last chapter of Brave Heart. NOTHING. Then the familiar soft language, ‘ we must get our independence. Really? Really?
There has been so many ‘moments’ when we all must have thought, ‘right that’s it they’ve done it now’ – NOTHING.
The coronavirus gave Westminster a fantastic opportunity to lie about our performance protecting the public. We were a disgrace, leaving the population and our health and care workers in grave danger. The attrition rate in our Care Homes was nothing short of genocide. Of course this was all a big lie. Scotland was fairing far far better than England, who by now were topping the charts in sheer incompetence.
With our citizens dying for a whole range of reasons, not least the English tourists descending on our remote part in their camper vans; eager to enjoy our seclusion, safety and superior Health Service. Once again we became a dumping ground, this time for a deadly virus.
One might think, with reasonable certainty, that this was the last straw, the camel was lying prostrate on the deck – not a bit of it – NOTHING, NADA.
At this point I will make a bold and perhaps sweeping statement. Sturgeon seems to be doing a good job managing the country on a day to day basis. By political leader standards she is up there with the best and commands Global respect. In terms of our fundamental Right and Goal of Restitution she is cautious to the point of intransigence. But has she been compromised?
Some say she likes the role, the responsibility of First Minister and the status that comes with the job and has now reached the pinnacle of her ambition. Perhaps? They say we all rise to the level of our incompetence; unless we are thinking about Boris, who just carried on up!
However, I worry about other things.
- First of all, the term Independence is a poor choice of words; it sounds isolationist. Understanding the ask, Restitution is a more accurate term. In my research, no nation anywhere or at any time has requested Independence or Restitution and achieved it. Restitution is taken, declared and in South Africa it was taken back with mild force. Applying for permission to hold a referendum is basically admitting defeat and handing over whatever power you have for nothing in return.
- Scotland has a long history championing injustice around the world. Scotland was an outspoken critic of apartheid in South Africa. In 1981 Glasgow awarded Nelson Mandela the Freedom of the City. This was an incredible act of bravery as the popular press branded him a terrorist. Mandela was release from prison by F W De Klerk in 1990 and became President of South Africa. Now recognised as one of the Greatest World Leaders, his grandson, Ndaba, is following in his footsteps. Mandela addressed the world saying, nobody is free until Palestine is free. In 2018 the Sun published an article [read the article please] by Nicola Sturgeon where she remembers that day in 1993 when Mandela accepted his Glasgow award in the City Chambers and addressed a massive crowd in George Square. At that time, Nicola Sturgeon said she was in ‘awe’ of this great man. How times have changed?
- Even before Apartheid South Africa there was the brutal Chilean regime. in 1974 Scottish factory workers risked their livelihood and even freedom to support the Chilean people. The BBC of all people, did a great documentary on this ‘Nae Pasaran’ ‘nothing passes’ movement that successfully broke the regime and earned the workers their rightful place in history [watch an excerpt]
- There is something extremely ‘not right’ about Nicola Sturgeon with her apparent passion for Israel. Israel in a rogue State standing accused on the world stage of war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. Highly respected Jewish historians and intellectuals have condemned Israel in the strongest possible terms; people such as Professors Noam Chomsky and Norman Finkelstein. Even, Bernie Sanders, a Zionist apparently, is seen as a threat to Israel. However, Nicola Sturgeon seems to have a passion for Israel. This was not always the case, but read about her allegiance with Glasgow Friends of Israel and ex-IDF soldier, now Chair of Glasgow Friends of Israel, Sammy Stein. Is this astonishing naivety on her part or has she been ‘compromised’. Read this SNP report [read the report] and judge for yourself.
- I don’t believe many people realise or understand the magnitude of influence that Israel has at Westminster. Sajid Javid, the then Chancellor of the Exchequer, spoke in public saying 100% Tory Members were Conservative Friends of Israel. One week later the Chancellor was gone without a single budget; unprecedented. Labour was as bad, beginning with the anointment of ultra Zionist Blair/Brown. Blair travelled to Tel Aviv to receive his massive funding from Levy to ‘aid his leadership campaign’. Alistair Campbell, I believe it was disclosed a sum of £9M with a further £7M. Labour became overwhelmed with Friends of Israel and ultimately, Jeremy Corbyn seen as a direct threat to Israel was removed and replaced by Zionist Keir Starmer. LibDems were not immune. Following an approval meeting with LDem Friends of Israel, Swinson swore allegiance and was immediately anointed Leader. Fortunately, the people of Dumbarton saw through this shell of a human being and kicked her out at the last election. Make no mistake, The Israeli lobby in the UK fronted by the Board of Deputies is vast, the largest lobby group in Europe and second in the world only to AIPAC who ‘own’ the US.
- Let me bring this to a conclusion. It is heavy work. How many Scots have heard of SCOJEC. [follow the link]. According to Police Scotland there has not been a single Hate Crime prosecution against a Jewish citizen in Scotland in the last 10 years; that ‘privilege’ goes to Pakistani citizens . The proportion of Zionists in Scotland is around 1:650 yet they are represented like the Board of IBM or Walmart. Ask yourself this: why do they need this level of representation. Now, search the Internet for Israeli behaviour in Palestine. Consider why Israel is in breach of 65 UN resolutions, which they ignore. How much influence do they have over Nicola Sturgeon?
- Final comment. In 2018 there was a SUTR Stand Up To Racism, demonstration in George Square. Sammy Stein and his Friends of Israel, the biggest racists on the planet decided to posture as anti-racists. He had a prior meeting with Nicola sturgeon. In the event it was a foul weather day and just about 300 protesters turned up. Friends of Israel were huddled in a corner with a strong police presence. In essence, there was around 300 police including armed officers in attendance. There were zero arrests, zero incidents and the event was very friendly. You may be excused for thinking that Friends of Israel were absolutely taking the piss. But out of whom? could that have been Nicola Sturgeon. I will close on that thought.
